Devices for position monitoring

Pilz devices for position monitoring include PSENrope safe rope pull switches and PSENenco encoders. This kind of sensor is usually applied in the automotive industry, in packaging lines, with pressing equipment, in paper and pulp industry and in airport systems.  

Pilz PSENrope are applicable for manual switching off of processes. This system is very simple to install. It is flexible as you can change the safety rope length. Additionally there is a E-Stop button. This is a rugged and reliable unit made of high quality metals and plastics. Can be used both indoors and outdoor. The PSENrope units correspond to IP67 protection class and are suitable for different industrial environments. Different accessories are available, such as additional springs, pulleys and spare ropes.

PSEMenco rotary encoders are applied for speed and position evaluation. All data is transferred to Pilz software. Each unit consists of two encoders.
