Incremental encoders

Dynapar incremental encoders are capable of transmitting  speed, direction and relative position information by generating a signal flow consisting of pulses equable to the rotation of a shaft. Dynapar features both optical and magnetic type encoders. In order to meet the requirements of different types of equipment there are 4 mounting options: shafted with coupling, hollow and hub-shaft or without bearings. There are 75 models of incremental encoders with different types of sensor, accuracy grade, mounting style, shaft size, IP protection class, maximum speed of operation, type of housing, external connection type and interface as well. A large variety with regard to the option listed makes it possible to find a suitable unit for your specific application.

Non-bearing sensors allow fast and precise outcome without any wear out. There are 16 models of such devices . As there are no rotating parts, these sensors are completely protected and sealed so this extends the range of potential application fields.  Nevertheless these encoders offer the same level of performance as shaft mounted models, are able to feature high resolution, they are compact and user-friendly.
